Community Psychiatric Support Services
Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) is a rehabilitative service intended to maximize the reduction of symptoms of mental illness in order to restore the individuals functioning to the highest level possible.
Program Objectives:
- To enhance Community Support Services for SED youth and their families.
- To ensure assessment of need and advocacy with other systems to meet the needs of SED youth and families, including housing, employment/educational status, health, income, recreation, cultural characteristics, and spiritual needs.
- To enhance the development of resiliency and assets of youth and families, to facilitate school success and future empowerment.
- The CPST provider will coordinate and collaborate services necessary for the family and youth to improve functioning and maintain together.
