Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services

Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services are available for youth and families who have been identified as using or abusing alcohol and/or illegal drugs. FRC collaborates with other community organizations such as hospitals, probation departments and children services to ensure continuity of care for all clients. This service also provides alcohol/drug groups with a focus on education, treatment, and relapse prevention.

Life Skills Drug and Alcohol Prevention Program

The Life Skills Program is evidence based educational curriculum which is available to elementary and middle school students in the school setting. It is also becoming increasingly used in alternative schooling and juvenile court programs. Life Skills will assist elementary and middle school youth in learning to abstain from drugs, alcohol, and tobacco use. This program will also enhance awareness teaching youth to identify underlying factors causing vulnerability to substance abuse and disruptions in their lives.
