Parent Project SR.
The Parent Project was created specifically for parents/guardians with difficult or out-of-control adolescents. Parents learn and practice specific prevention and intervention strategies for destructive behaviors – truancy, alcohol and other drug use, gangs and other criminal behavior, running away, violence, and suicide.
Parent Project SR strives to provide parents/guardians with proven methods to:
- Prevent (stop) child’s alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use
- End parent-child arguments
- Improve child’s grades and school attendance
- Learn how to “out-will” a strong willed child
Parent Project is an entirely new parent training model. It not only delivers new skills and insights, it rekindles hope. The Parent Project offers concrete, no-nonsense solutions. The straightforward, step-by-step action plans presented in the curriculum allow parents/guardians to take immediate steps toward preventing or intervening in their children’s negative choices. The program is designed to revive parents’ desire, teach the skills and provide the practical and emotional support they need to change destructive adolescent behavior.
