First responder training

This training will offer you and your family a variety of resources to aid in the sustainment of your physical and mental health well-being.  We are strongly encouraging adult family member(s) or other personal support member(s) to attend to learn about the importance of their role in supporting the first responder in their life.  Their attendance will provide them with information on how to recognize signs/symptoms in their first responder who may be struggling with a critical incident(s) they may have witnessed.

The First Responder Crisis and Self Awareness Training will be conducted by Steven M. Click, Director, First Responder Wellness of the Ohio Department of Public Safety’s Office of Criminal Justice Services. Steven retired from the Ohio State Patrol after 36 years of service and currently serves as the lead facilitator of Ohio ASSIST.

This training will be held at the Community and Wellness Center of Owens Community College located at 3200 Bright Road, Findlay and will be offered on multiple dates and times in 2022 to maximize availability.
