Our prevention experts work in the schools in the communities we serve, and they provide group and one-on-one school-based education services focused on topics including managing anger and stress, grief and loss, divorce, ADHD, foster care, and more.


PREVENTION & Education Services

SCHOOL-BASED EDUCATION SERVICES

Locations: Findlay

FRC Prevention Educators are at work in nearly every school in the communities we serve, providing group or one-on-one service directly in school, meeting students where they are. These services focus on interventions and strategies for managing anger, grief/loss, ADHD symptoms, foster care issues, divorce issues, trust, social skills, anxiety, problem-solving, team building, empowerment, and other needs as identified. MORAL RECONATION THERAPY

Locations: All

MRT is an evidence-based cognitive behavior group designed to foster moral development in treatment-resistant clients. The program is designed to alter how you think and make judgments about what is right and wrong through structured exercises. This service is provided to youth who are between 14 and 18 years old.

CHALLENGE

Location: Findlay

The Challenge Program focuses on building awareness and knowledge of the nature and extent of alcohol and other drug use, abuse, and addiction, as well as the effects those substances have on individuals, families, and communities. This program is for youths and young adults who have violated an alcohol and/or other drug law or policy in the community, at school, in athletics, or within the boundaries of their own home.

Adventure therapy

Location: Lima

Adventure Therapy is a group that helps kids between the ages of 10-13 build confidence and discover their strengths through activities and teamwork. By learning problem-solving and coping skills in a fun, hands-on way, kids gain tools they can use in everyday life. The group is designed to support growth, resilience, and positive connections with others. Adventure Therapy is a 12-week program running September 3 through December 19, 2025. TRIPLE P CLASSES

Location: Findlay

The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program® is a parenting and family support system designed to prevent – as well as treat – behavioral and emotional problems in children and teenagers. It aims to prevent problems in the family, school, and community before they arise and to create family environments that encourage children to realize their potential.
